    Can any one help with the below coding, is it something i can fix, ie faulty switch or is it major engine apart job and better dealt with by dealer.

    Just doen a 400 mile round trip last few days, then 2 mile run today and engine management light comes on

    Strange code to have. I didn't know your engine ever came with an auxillary coolant pump. Are you sure this code is genuine. Try clearing it and see what comes back.

    Thanks Martin, will try that, the car appeared to run ok. I have reset and see what occurs. Car is becoming a real bug bear.

    Well Car is booked in to have the Auxillary water pump replaced, apparently it is electric pump that pumps water around the engine once turned off to assist with cooling of turbo etc. £126.00 incl for pump 1 hours labour, would do it my slef but apparently there are 2 types and VW are unable to ID part until removed.
    Corsa - But want an Audi!!!
