Ok guys good news I've been at my local garage all morning and then fault was the telephone control module under the floor of the front passenger side. His taken out the module and done a temp repair so I system is working but no I need to look for a control module as audi are quoting me £260, can I just get one off eBay and replace it or would I need component protectionremoved or would iI be better for me to get it off the dealer.

4E0 862 335 was dropped, you will require a 4E0 910 336 ... the last revision seems to be 4E0 910 336 L ...

The list seems to show A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J, K as options...

I would take this information ring an Audi main dealer and talk to their parts dept and they can reconfirm before purchase...

Hi Apole,

I have just bought a 2006 A6 and had the Fiscon installed. However, my CD changer doesn't seem to work - the CDs load up, but the MMI screen (CD/TV) tells me that all 1-5 CDs are empty and no. 6 is Telephone. Not sure if the installer coded this incorrectly, or whether the changer was always faulty (i didn't check the changer before the Fiscon installation) - any advice on this would be very appreciated. Also, I don't get a ring tone option and the my phone only rings (not the car) - is there a way round this?

No power to MMI head nothing whatsover. Wont even roll round either. Plus no Park assist

You need to fix the power fault to the control head, I take it you have checked the fuse. VCDS is not able to communicate to the other MMI modules until the control head is working, as the infotainment bus is on the control head. Again I would check the fuse to the parking module as you are getting a no coms error. You will need to take the car to an Audi dealer to have this fault fixed "02095 - Component Protection Active" I don't believe it's causing problems with the control head or parking module, but it can give strange problems on the car.

What engine do you have fitted, as only certain engines have a second ECU. The error code on the primary ECU is just one of the gearbox mounts is faulty and needs replacing, you also may notice move vibration in the car when at idle.

Do you know where the parking module is located?

I have read about the Transmission mount, and most people leave it as is, it doesn't cause any harm, and to be honest the engine is still lovely and smooth.
