Passat 1.9 TDI B6 wont start "Engine Emission" Vagcom Enginer Speed Sensor G28

Hi All, My car Passat 1.9 TDI b6 3C was running fine till I went to shopping yesterday. parked my car fine in multistory car on 10th floor.
came back from shopping and car wont start. It tries to start but ...Message appears "Emission Garage" called recovery and before recover Arrived I did the vagcom and it says

Please help what it is? Expensive? Is it realy only a sensor? Where is it located in Passat B6 1.9 TDI 3c?

Did you have any work done on the engine recently ? Engine speed sensor is also known as crankshaft sensor- look on the gearbox bell housing. You filled the tank with diesel prior that ? I suggest you look at the receipt and make sure the tank does not smell of petrol ! Also check the cambelt condition...

thanks adam. I had low level of fuel but not tha low and for sure it had diesel not petrol. I opend the bonnet this morning and pressed all connectore with hand i could see in there. tried and car started but still had the "emission garage" message. then I went to garage and put about 20 litre diesel in. after 4 or 5 starts "emission garage" message dissappeared. now no msgs and car running fine. any suggestion? im scared if it let me down again. time belt was done about 47k ago. cant gurantee as I didnt do it. only trusting paper work from previous seller.

sorry forgot to mention i had headlight replaced after a small crush. it happend immediately after that.

Doubt headlight has anything to do with it, i still suspect you put petrol in it !
