Are there any guides to taking them out? I heard that it's possible to do without taking the bumper off, is that possible?

If it's an inner one, I removed mine without removing the bumper.
Look for a thread started by me, A8tech posted a reply how to remove.

VCDS says the following which I take it means the outer left?

    1 Fault Found
01545 - Sensor for Parking Aid; Rear Left (G203)
    004 - No Signal/Communication
    Freeze Frame:
    Fault Status: 01100100
    Fault Priority: 3
    Fault Frequency: 59
    Reset counter: 114
    Time Indication: 0

That's a bother! I did the ticking test and all of them are ticking away. So could be a wiring problem. Do you think clearing the code with VCDS will do anything? Or will it just be the same?

I've found that it is the outer left from one of the codes from VCDS. The codes are as follows:
Rear left parking aid sender -G203
Centre rear left parking aid sender -G204
Centre rear right parking aid sender -G205
Rear right parking aid sender -G206

You could have a look under the bumper and see if you can reach.

ok found the post to remove sensor without removing the bumper (see below). Is there insufficient room to use this technique for the outer sensors?
