Unfortunately it didn't worked on my car, as my comfort module is a "basic" version against to the "highline" version. Therefore a lot's of tricks are not working on my car, as this module hasn't got the possibility to change several values.

A VCDS specialist told me, I can replace this module with a highline one, and these features will work for me, or there is a possibility to try to change the software on the current module, but he warned me, that if the update fails, the module will became a junk, as there is no way to retry the data transfer. This info allplies to both HBA and traffic signal recognition, and for several other minor features.

That's not a simple task. It's not a straight forward swap and everything works. Need to replace hundreds of stuff. Then you probably got component protection

Right after my dealer re flashed the car to STOP the engine from turning off when you got out having moved the car, I have compared a full code read before and after. The module that was changed is the central convenience and it is one small change.

I've gone and changed it back to the original value and sure enough, drive the car and get out and the engine stops, adjust it and it keeps running.

Right the code and changes are below:

    OLD Code

    Address 46: Central Conv. (J393) Labels: 4H0-907-064-46.clb
    Part No SW: 4H0 907 064 CN HW: 4H0 907 064 CN
    Component: BCM2 2.0 H32 0421
    Revision: 00002001
    Coding: 013F062220B90000832009042001040F0000000000000000000000000000

    NEW Code

    Address 46: Central Conv. (J393) Labels: 4H0-907-064-46.clb
    Part No SW: 4H0 907 064 CN HW: 4H0 907 064 CN
    Component: BCM2 2.0 H32 0421
    Revision: 00002001
    Coding: 013B062220B9000083200904200104070000000000000000000000000000

You need to go into Module 46 central convenience
    [Select]
    [46 - Central Conv.]
    [Coding - 07]
    [Long Coding Helper]
Click on the above red byte and in the binary code you will see: 00000111
    Change it to: 00001111
ie. with 1111 at the end not 111

Tab into the next bit box and you will see the code change to 0F
    [close the long code helper]
    [Do It!]

If someone can confirm it works on their car that would be great. Car is a UK RHD.

It definitely works for me, all I need to do now it get stop start to default to off(but leave the button working) and get the radio to remember the screen position so I can stop it popping up all the time...!!!

    Enjoy folks.
I’m having a bit of bother with this one. I can’t find any red byte to click on.

Unless it’s meant as click the byte ‘0F’ which is highlighted in red?

    Hi,

I mention that I searched the thread for "unfold mirrors", but I've got no results, so this is my question, related to an A6 C7 4G 2012 2.0 TDI.
Is it possible to have a coding for the following purpose?
I want to have the side mirrors unfolded right after disarming the car, not when I press the "Start/Stop Engine" button.
I know that this is standard on some other VAG cars (like VW) and it's very useful in my oppinion.

    Thank you!

Luke, you've got the same issue as me, apparently it's already set to 1111 so we can't change it, or not as far as I can tell anyway!

I solved it. Sorry just didn’t get round to posting it here.

Go to the LCode2 and disable all the bits in byte 15. Change it from 00001111 to 00000000. Save and exit.

Worked for me in my 62 plate C7 BiTDI. Let me know if it works for you.

i guess it needs RLS active, lights in auto but not in high beam?

I couldn't get it working. I have standard bi-xenon, HBA, RLS, lights in auto and both manually low beam and in HBA on but not activated due to street lights (speed 110-140 kph for quite sometime, maybe a minute.

Should it be with low beam and dark (i.e. no ambient ligth)? What about MMI setting "automatic dip"?

Yes you need to activate RLS. Also switch to auto. I tested on motorway so I'm guessing it works on in dark only. I may be wrong though
