Is anybody else having issues with Disabling engine stop when opening driver's door. (Number 10 in post #1 ) ?
I find this the most annoying feature (now I've sorted out stop/start )

    Any suggestions appreciated!

Really great thread! Many thanks to all contributors, I've done loads of VCDS tweaks on my former A4 B8 and now on my current A6 C7 (facelift)

I dont suppose anyone knows of a way to disable the warning beeps when you open the drivers door while the engine/ignition is on?

Temporarily by pressing one of the scroll wheels on the steering wheel. Can’t remember which one side, but surprising how many people don’t know that.

Yeah, thanks... I knew that one... just hoping that there is perhaps a vcds setting that would silence it permanently

    Hi guys,

    I have A6 C7 2018, german edition.
I have parking sensors front and rear, 360 deg. I believe that's the most advanced parking system available for this car.

Is it possible to have front sensors always active? Currently, I have to remember to press the button to activate sensors and front camera. I would like for sensors to start beeping as soon as I get close to a wall or other car. Is that possible to achieve?

    Thanx

As far as I know, yes, IMHO there is an option in the OBD to activate this option. However, please note, this is one of the most annoying things, as in this case the parking assistant and signal will also turn on in a traffic jam, and several unwanted cases. I don't recommend to turn the "feature" on. It's not so intelligent to recognise a wall or a parking situation.
