    Hi,
    I'm new on this forum.
I have a question about MMI 3G Plus Start Up Screen.
I have seen in Audi Q5 at Start Up Screen custom picture.
Does anyone know how to do this in Audi A6 C7?
Thank for your help and sorry form my English...

It is enabled. I think it's an error in the software as this shows on all models even though it's enabled.

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone can give me some guidance please with regards to :- Ambient lighting footwell lights ?

With the kind help of Mustard yesterday, we managed to turn on both my front & rear footwell lights using step 26 Vcds tricks below, however we did not manage to get into hidden menu as in step 5 as I did not print this out at the time and only realised it last it night.
My footwell are now working with lights on , however they are only very dimly lit, and go to full brightness when opening the doors. So I am assuming that I need to go into the hidden menu as per step 5 to be able to adjust brightness from MMI screen ...is this correct and will I be able to control these from MMI screen ?

Please can anyone tell me ...do I need to re visit Mustard & connect VDCS again to be able to go into Hidden Menu and set this up again as per second part of instructions on step 26 ? a

Any advice would be most appreciated and thanks in advance

    26. Activation of footwell lighting for vehicles without Lighting Pack / Ambient Lighting
This allows you to use the MMI to set the footwell lighting level while driving. Tested on cars with MMI 3G+ (Tech pack).

    [Select]
    [09-Cent. Elect]
    [Coding - 07]
    [Long Coding Helper]
Click on byte 16 and enable bit 6
    [Do It!]

Enter the Hidden Menu as in step 5 above.
    Select Car
    Select Cardevicelist
    Check "Interior Light"
    Return
    Select Carmenuoperation
Set "Interior Light" from 0 to 5
    Return
Press CAR to exit the hidden menu
    Reboot the MMI

Thanks to Hellodave for finding this.

This is Step 5 instructions :-

    5. Hidden menu
Enable access to the green engineering menu in the MMI
    [Select]
    [5F - Information Electr.]
    [Adaptation - 10]
    Select Channel 6 and Read
change the value from 0 to 1 then Test then Save
Reboot the MMI (Press MENU, central MMI knob and top right softkey)
To get to the Hidden Menu, press and hold the CAR and MENU buttons for a few seconds. You may have to have a few attempts - if you don't press them at the exact same moment either CAR or MENU activates. You know if you have done it right because the red LEDs in the buttons do not illuminate.
WARNING!!!! BE CAREFUL!!! Do not mess with settings in the Hidden Menu unless you know what you are doing. On earlier MMI versions, people managed to activate the bootloader menu and fried their MMI. Use at your own risk. If in doubt, leave well alone!

Yes you need to enable the menu for the MMI, you will then get this option shown below

They will then be enabled anytime your headlights are active and the adjustment of brightness will be memorised.

If you're trying to get the hidden menu on the facelift A6 (2015+) it's not going to work. Unless things have changed in the last couple of weeks, it's not possible to enable the menu on the FL as of yet
Mine currently behaves the same as yours having enabled background lighting
