09 - central electrics, first module BCM
    Byte 3
    bit 0
daytime running lights adjustable via MMI

enables DRL on/off setting in MMI. Our Audi importer have hidden the menu and set DRL permanently ON (very wise they did that for our weather conditions, esp. tail lights). In same instances it would be nice to have ability to completely switch lights off, so this enables MMI menu item, in case you don't have it.

    Byte 4
Bit 6 enables tourist mode setting in MMI (driving on left (= wrong) or right). Headlights will be dipped a bit, usefull when driving in a convoy because the lights tend to blink the car mirror in front on a hilly roads.

Bytheway, german version "DRV" of VCDS at ross-tech.de has much more coding texts and adaptation explanations than in imperial version.

Just enabled a few things on a 2014 (Nov 2013 build) SE 2.0 TDI (Engine Code - CGLC) with Colour DIS and HDD.

    Chirp on lock
    Needle sweep
Boost gauge (working!) /lap timer/oil temp
    Battery meter
    Cornering fogs
    VIM

Already had mirror dip on reverse as it has elec memory seats anyway.

Look at 1 and 2 in post #1 then go into the menu button on the steering wheel (one beside the left hand side scroll wheel) then go into Lap Timer.

Will take some pics tomorrow, think some early clusters weren't compatible.

I'll get you some pics soon but I found another feature you automatic owners might enjoy.

    53 - Parking Brake
    16 - Security Access
Code shown to me was 78713
    10 - Adaption
    "Shift P to EPB"
    Set to Activated

This will auto-apply the handbrake when the shifter has moved to P.

Pics as promised, boost is little as I had it in R on the driveway.

You can see the little bars appearing beside the rev counter.

Done both the lap timer and the auto parking brake. There is no temperature shown for the oil though, as with your pics above its just blank - is there a way to fix this? I drove until my engine was at normal operating temperature. Auto parking brake is awesome though!
