    Hi all,

Can anyone tell me please, where the fuse is for the ciggy lighter in the boot? All my fuses in the dash end fuse box are OK so I guess it is somwhere else.

    Regards Dave

it is behind the drivers side lower dash panel

    2 hex screw's in d/s fuse panel
1 right of steering wheel near the pocket
1 left side of steering wheel near pocket

remove lower panel by pulling it not forgetting to disconnect the headlight switch and headlight level and cluster dimmer switches

you will see on the right side fuses and relay's thats where they are

refit is opposite of removal except there are two guides that the rear underside of the panel need to slot into you will see them one left side nr clutch ( metal ) and one right side nr accelerator pedal ( white plastic )

these need aligning or it will sag at rear..!!

    hope that help's

The diagnostic socket needs releasing from the panel to remove it from the car, it is screwed from the inside of the panel.

    Brill. Many thhanks!

Went straight to it, after taking the other two screws out from under the fuse box cover. I would never have found that!

5 minutes to replace the fuse--- 25 minutes to put it all back together again.

Why not put them all in the fuse box?

I guess the 40amp fuse in the same place is the glow plugs supply?

    Regards Dave
