2012 S4 Drive Select

Hi all,

I've searched for this answer about Drive Select but can't seem to find anything about it.

I have ordered a new 2012 S4 but could only test drive the 2011 model. The exhaust note seemed a little weak (although I could not go mad with the salesman in the car ).

My question is: Does the Drive Select option change the exhaust note and throttle blip in anyway?

I refer to the standard Drive Select without any other options such as Dynamic Steering or Damper control. I have just read a magazine article about the new RS4 that indicated that it does. Is theis the same on the S4?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I have the full drive select on my 2011 S4 and when in dynamic mode there is a but of a blip but not as pronounced as the RS5 with the sports exhaust. I would imagine the new S4 will be the same as mine as it is effectively the same car.
