    Hi guys,

Would anyone happen to know what bulb type is needed for the offside reversing light in a 2005 saloon. Cluster is similar to the one below.

    Bulb looks pretty small.

    Thanks in advance.

Do you not have a handbook for the car. Or try http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/Audi-Bulbs.html Regards Peter

    Thanks Peter,

No details are in the manual. The link was useful, suggests a standard tail bulb 21w, however there are 2 types of cluster and what it referred to as "high" suggests a 21w halogen bulb which is much smaller. That is the one I think it has but to be on the safe side I will take it apart and check first.

Was hoping to save taking it apart twice as I'd need it working to get to the shops to buy a replacement.

Thanks again. Appreciate you taking the time to answer.

There are two different types of rear cluster - the normal and highline (LED brake light) type I believe

Before you take it apart.....make sure that it actually HAS an offside reversing light. From new, my offside one didn't work. Dealer evetually confirmed that one wasn't fitted to save money. On a £30k car!!

    Mine's a 2007 saloon.

Checked earlier. You're right. No offside reversing light on mine either. Has the highline led brake lights though. Shame as on a dark night you can't see too well . Oh well. Thanks for the help.
