    anybody in the valleys area able to diagnose a central locking fault, code 2nd hand clocks and airbag ecu.

    think il buy it off ilexa for £280, but wud like a intro, ex vaux fitter, cant be much different.

    I,m up in ystrad mynach,
    But what i usually ask is you do the research on whats required, i lend you my unit at my home address.... i get to learn a little more.... you get to hopefully sort out your problem.
    2007 A4 saloon 3.0Tdi Tdv QUATTRO.
    Phantom black - Xenons, Bose, Heated Valcona, Cruise, Colour DIS, Satnav, front and rear sensors.
    Hex-USB+CAN VCDS, with a lot to learn.

    hi john - mandy, iv done loads of looking online, to find out about the clocks and airbag etc, need a skc number which i dont have for the clocks, something to do with immobiliser, there are programs that can get it, but takes hours apparently,but i really need to test central locking. if i could plug yours in it would be great. il pay the fee and maybe we can both take a look

    VCDS doesn't retrieve the SKC or pin number, there are 2 ways to get it, a locksmith or a dealer. There are cables available to retrieve the pin usually takes under a minute

    No problem with vcds, your not far from me, best you pm me or post a sacrifical email address so i can get in touch.
    Payment isn't necessary.
