    Hi All,

Car failed emissions on high O2 sensor.

Plugging in probe direcly into engine- shows un burnt fuel in combustion chamber.

Garage are pretty sure I have an air leak - likely cause inlet manifold gasket.

Firstly is this a common fault?

Secondly, can anyone point me in the right direction on how to remove the inlet manifold? Is there a "how to" thread about or an electronic manual someone might have.

    Many Thanks

    Russell.

first thing i would do is take your spark plugs out and check the condition of them, are they clean/black perfect or corroded? that will help us massively.

    also, any changes in performance?

yes all common faults, chance O2 sensor but get a good brand

Inlet manifold gasket failure is not at all common on the NG engine (other air leaks are), you need to get this to someone who knows the NG KEIII Motroinic engine as they are odd and very difficult to set up.
