    hi my mates had his key stolen and he wants to know what his options are,the car is a 57 platepassat 2ltr tdi
    We have been told that it can be flashed so the other key wont work,but gilders say it needs an ecu with 2 new keys

    The dealer should be able to supply new key and remove the stolen one when doing the coding

    just to add the key is the new type with keyless ignition just the little plastic bit that comes off

    cheers kite dealer says they can code it so that it wont start car but they can still gain entry
