    Hi all,

    car in and the following codes are up on it:

    P1517, P1558, P1680

    I got a new main relay and going to try it tomorrow, also got a new ecu for the car but no key (is this needed) how do I go about reprogramming the 2nd hand ecu to this coding will be done with autoboss v30 not vcds as the laptop at the min is down and away being repaired!!! hopefully the relay will sort it just need heads up incase it doesnt

    petrol/diesel? engine cc or better still engine code? i dont use P codes as there gen codes, would be better if you had vcds codes

    Its a 2001 1.2 3 cylinder petrol - not sure of the engine code will check this morning. The v30 is only pulling the P codes not the vcds ones - what a time for the laptop to go **** up!!!

    Normally the ECU has to be coded to the immo... i used vagcom to to do mine when my ECU packed up a couple of months ago...
