Hi all, has anyone had problems with factory fitted park sensors. My car has front and rear sensors, the switch light flashes and it beeps at me. Has any one any ideas on how to find the faulty sensor without having to go to a VW dealer, cheers.

Common fault i'm afraid. Whilst my 56 plate car was under warranty I had them replaced twice. Sometimes you can hear the faulty sensor clicking - just switch the parking sensors on with the P button and put your ear against each sensor. Could be a sensor, corroded wiring or faulty control module.

Hi thanks for the info, we had a demo today of some new diagnostic gear, seems the rear inner sensors are not being recognised. I had the back bumper off at the weekend to fit a towbar so I may of distirbed the wiring. I will have to pop the bumper off again and check the wiring, happy days!
