    Dear All.
Golf Mk5 05 plate GTTDO2.0 (140PS) i have driven this car from new, with only the a few small snags and problems, only done 35000 miles.
On Saturday while gently tazzing down the M40, noticed vibration through the steering wheels and centre armrest.
Vibration was quite scary at about 80mph+ in 6the gear about 2-3K revs.
Drooping down speed and vibration goes away, no vibration at all when driving at 30-60mph's etc.
Only thing dome recently was a cam belt change at the VW dealership...! and MOt, during which front CV boots were changed.
Any one else had similar vibration problem?
    (never had this problem before)

hi mate it sounds alot like wheel balance, until you said about new cv boots, it could be that the hub nuts arent tight, or something was missed, first thing id do is have the wheel balance checked, if this is fine id look in to something being missed when the boots were done, hope this helps mate

    Hi Syd98,

Did you ever get to the bottom of the vibration - I think I have a very similar issue and would value your thoughts. My symptoms are here https://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/s...ion#post675416
