Can anyone tell us what they have put ? I am being told I can go for either 35w canbus pro or 50w Passat kits, Am told that these work very well and are super bright.

What I want to know is: What do you go for as the colour temp ? There is 4300K, 5000K, 6000K, 8000K or 10,000K

Would a combination of 35w canbus pro 8000k say be brighter than 50w passat kit with 5000k or vice versa?

I just wondered if anyone has had any experience doing this?

Will there be any issues with lamp out errors or dashboard lights, I recall reading that "some but not all" these units actually trick the car into not showing the lamp out error & can damage the control units and wiring over time. Could this be true?

Will Leaving/Coming home lights be effected? I know xenons use less power when running, but im just trying to cover all bases before I part with my money. I have figured out they require an initial high voltage to start. What I cant figure out is does that drain my battery prior to the engine being started.

Please advice any experts out there.

    Thanks

    Here you go:

LED sidelights. Been told LEDs dont last very long so I will be interested to see how long mine last.

I also did the 'Skyline mod'. I removed my inner rear units and sent them to Guyke in Belgium who kindly upgraded by lights. I fitted them with assistance from a fellow VAG member with VCDS in Lancashire.

I rec'd a lot of help from knowledgable members here. I will try to upload a 'How to...' soon.
