    Hi,

I have recently come to know about Millers Oils Diesel Power Ecomax fuel treatment. Is it okay to use with A4 B7 2.0 Tdi? By anyway does it harm the engine?

Any experienced folks used this and able to see the difference in mileage?

    Thanks

I've used it before, but not in the normal reccommended doses. When i do feel like blowing £10.99 on a bottle i tend to double/triple dose the car on millers and then take it for a good motorway blast to clear our the crud and keep the engine happy.

It does seem to idle better, run slightly smoother and just seem a little less asmathic, but that could all be down to me thrashing the **** out of the car (READ:italian tune up) at the same time. Does it do any harm? I'd say no. The UKMKIV Boys love the stuff and claim much better mpg and running etc....

Like Doctor Pepper once said, whats the worst that could happen? Give it a shot!

I've used it regularly and you do get a better Mpg and performance in my opinion. 1.9 PD tdi 130.

If you shop around you can get 500ml for about 8quid. Halfords have it at about 13quid at the moment.

    Regards,
    Matt

On all the tests done and a recent one on fifth gear these additives are a complete waste of money

Is it not worth just switching to a premium fuel for a few tanks? As far as Im aware, stuff like BP Ultimate already has additives to "clean-as-you-drive"..and a few blasts with a few tanks of it can't do any harm...
