    Thumbs down Engine cranks but will not start – 08-10-2011,12:09 PM
    I have a 2000 Alhambra 1.9 TDI. It is an early 115bhp PD engine. I have had endless repairs to do over this last 18 months. However, it now refuses to start from time to time and the intervals are getting closer.

    The engine has 105000 miles on the clock and lately has required a turbocharger fitted as the oil seals failed. A year ago the water pump impeller came loose. Is this a trend, do they gradually fade away?

    Can someone shed some light on why the car will not start. A new battery has been fitted as this was suggested as the problem.

    Sorted. relay that powers engine management.
