I have a new 61 plate Audi A6. I stupidly didn't order the car with DAB Radio. I'm looking to retrofit this in the future as I did with my old a6 but I don't know if this is possible with the new 3G MMI system??

    Have you heard anymore?

I picked up an ex-demo and am in the same situation. I rang one of the retrofit companies and the short answer was no - they'd not done one yet. They also pointed out it would be worth checking whether you need to replace a rear passenger quarter window if you have a saloon as you did have to replace it if you retro-fitted a C6 to get the DAB aerials in.

I'm living with it until hopefully its a bit more common a year down the line or so.

I've just been in touch with www.vwcruise.co.uk who quoted me for fitting to my MY11 C7:

The Genuine Audi DAB Radio will cost £550 + VAT supplied and fitted.

I've used these guys a couple of times on another vehicle and was happy with their work.

    Hope that helps,

    Matt.
