Seen something that has my interest. The roof mounted aeriel on this car is a combination of a sharkfin aerial with a screw on stick aerial immediately behind it all part of the same unit.

I've been searching autotrader looking at possible cars but no luck yet. As far as I can remember, I've only seen this type of aerial on saloons.

If I understand what you have wrote correctly, I can recall a car that has the unit you describe.

Trying to find a picture and will post if you haven't found it by then.

Consider this, my A4 avant has radio antenna on rear most side windows and my sat nav has a shark fin on the roof. If I change my skarkfin for a octavia style antenna, I could use the stick part as my tv antenna with some sort of booster.
