    just in the process of buying my 1st audi and the lad said it has. esp light on, abs light on and handbrake light flashing. just wondering if i should buy this or not? has anyone had this problem and know if its a big job or if it is a common fault and no biggie thanks alot for your time and help.

    Probably a faulty G201 sensor inside the pump, approx £500 to £1K to fix.

    Anthropogenic climate change, the biggest con inflicted on mankind since religion...

    check with your dealer VAG are now supplying repair kits for some control units

    No, don't buy IMO. There isn't a shortage of used A3's on the market. Take your time to find a good one.

    As above - if they really wanted they should fix it themselves before selling. Plenty of others on the market. The ESP light is probably G201 sensor as also mentioned.. I've not seen the handbrake light flashing with that before though, so maybe that's something else?

    Flashing handbrake light is usually a warning that the brake fluid is low.
