I am puzzling over why I have a 1998 Cordoba with long cable movement on the RH, and so much less on the LH. I cannot see any obvious shortcoming with the RH adjuster. Anybody?

on the backplate behind the drum there should be a rubber grommet the adjuster is behind that a flat head screw driver should do it. If its discs the piston could be seized a bit, its pads out and turn anti clockwise whilst pulling then wind them back in and replace it may free it up

I suppose I should have stated it is a drum brake. It does not have a wheel and threaded bar adjuster set-up, it is a wedge pulled by a spring. I cannot recall ever seeing anything like it before!

...... and the 'teeth' on the shoes were corroded, and worn 'away' on the wedge!
