Just got my car back from having the Timing Belt / Waterpump done.

Now the car has a number of issues, which i am not best pleased about but i was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the matter.

17952 - Angle Sensor 1 For Throttle Actuator (G187): Signal Too Large
17579 - Angle Sensor 2 For Throttle Actuator (G188): Implausible Signal

    01314 - Engine Control Module
    013 - Check DTC Memory

It now means that the car goes into limp mode under hard acceleration. Which puts both the EPC and Traction Control Light. Upon turning off and the engine back on the only light to stay on is the traction control light. Yeah I'm abit baffled by it as well, cleared the faults only for them to come back later on.

    Anyone heard of similar stories?

    Thanks

    Cammers

The codes would clear. However obviously they would come back under hard acceleration. This morning the car went back, they cleaned and re-adapted the throttle body and it seems to have cured it, or at least for the time being. But i can't see how these are related? but then again I am no mechanic. Also this must of been an under lying issue prior to going in for the Cambelt/Waterpump and it's just coincidence it happened when it did.

The car didn't show the conventional signs of a throttle body related issue, bad idling etc

If the throttle body is dirty and you disconncet the battery (as you should when cahnging the cam belt) then the ECU can get vey confused over the throttle body.
