just had my 07 A6 2.7tdi remapped and its made a massive difference on the power (smoother power delivery when the turbo kicks in, acceleration is significantly improved, engine remains quiet and doesnt appear to be any more smokey) and on my first long run the economy is certainly better too. great service, he comes to your door and I would recommend using him.

    cheers fella

    My pleasure DRT

the 2.7 tdis go very well after a remap gains of 50Bhp and 100Nm easily achievable - sharper throttle response and improved fuel economy ( as long as driven sensibly)

see what gains can be achieved on your car at www.flashremapping.co.uk

I have a 2.7 tdi too and I have been looking at having it remapped. I was wondering what the limiting factor is and we only get 220-230 bhp out of the 2.7 engine? Would a bigger turbo allow for 270+ bhp? Are the injectors big enough for such mod? I am only asking because the 3.0 tdi gives around 300 bhp, so I would expect the 2.7 to have similar capabilities...obviously not, but what can be done?

    Thanks in advance!

It's an old topic, but here you go...
I ended up removing the DPF and the cat (it was 2 different boxes in my car) and I went for a 2260VK turbo.
The car made 272bhp on the rollers. It drives much nicer and it doesn't feel lazy any more. It is the 180bhp version and we measured it before the remap and we got 157bhp out of it.
