    Hi
Has anyone removed a Throttle Body on a MK4 Golf V5 (150 Version)? Would appreciate some advice on how to do it or a DIY Guide. Also how important is the VAGCOM alignment? I have heard the car adapts to the values after 20 or 30 miles.
    Thanks

The throttle body is bolted to the inlet manifold pointing towards the rear of the car, it is quite easy to remove. Make sure the engine is cold and release the pressure from the coolant expansion tank. In my experience you have to re-align them but other people swear they have got away with it.
