Hi there i have just bought a audi a3, 1.8turbo, its a r reg (1998) was 150bhp its been mapped up to 190, i taken it on a test drive today and bought it off a middle age man that appaears to have looked after it well fsh ect, only reason for selling is he wants a s3, the temp gage only went about half way up 70oc ish i would say and never reached 90oc is there a common cause? thermostat? temp sender?
