Reversing Sensors

Hi,

Audi A3-2006
Looks like one or more of my reversing sensors might be faulty. When the car is put in reverse there is a long beep. I can hear two of the sensors clicking (assume this is working), one is quite quiet and the other is silent except when I put my ear really close.

I think I can work out how to take the bumper off, but does anyone have an idea how much the sensors might be to replace?

I don't have access to a vagcom (although I do live near Stafford...), is it likely that more than one could have gone? Is there a way to test this?

hi piratedave, have a look through the forum front page for people with vcds and send someone a mail for help, there are a few near you i'm sure and for a couple of beers they will read your car for you and tell you which sensors are faulty, you will need to know which sensors are faulty because there are a few types that audi use and which position they are in the bumper. The sensors i believe will cost about £70. each from audi and you will also need paint which is about £14. There should be a thread in the how to section to remove the bumper and to be fair its not a bad job to do.
