I recently completed a cambelt change on this vehicle and everthing was fine for a week then the fun started.

The owner reported that the management light came on now and then but there was no running fault as far as they could tell.

In the interest of good customer relations, I stripped it back to the belt and checked my work, all was well so I had the vehicle checked for fault codes.

I have got codes 17536 and 17887.

17536-Long term fuel trim, entire speed/load range, bank 1-system too lean.
So far I have checked for fuel pump pressure, inlet manifold/breather pipe leaks or any loose hoses.

17887-Vacuum system, brakes-mechanical fault.
I can hear the pump working when the brakes are being applied but I wonder should it be working all the time?

The vehicle is running and breaking fine and it's now getting to me

If anyone has any ideas as to the above I would welcome your replys.

Thanks people
