    Hi all.Just noticed a one side of my car covered in paint spots today.Guys painting up the road and must have travelled across to my car.Thinking of using a bit of thinners on a cloth or white spirits.Would this damage the paint work??Thanks all..

    Probably would damage it!

    I had a few white spots on my car, I used auto glym tar spot remover, this did a good job, I have seen on other forums that people have used clay bar to good effect to get rid of over spray.

    I think you need to know what type of paint.If it drifted it might be exterior Masonary paint which wont dissolve easily like an oilbased gloss.My sons blue Honda was covered in tiny white spots by his neighbour painting his rendering and they havent spoken since

    Ended up giving it a light rub with some petrol i had in the shed and presto removed it all.Gave it two rubs of the buffer and looks the part again..Thanks alot for the help guys.My first Audi and lovin the drive..
