    Hi all,

Just picked up my 2004 105 TDi today, 55k full service history and really happy with it.

Having a good look around it now I have it home I noticed grimey oil on the roadside of the plastic engine under cover.

Having removed one fog the foglights I can see its coming from the large rubber pipe which dissapears underneath the radiator. Its quite difficult to explain the location so I have added pics.

Odds are its accumulated over the last 7 years with the previous owner as its looks fairly grimey rather than clear oil and there isnt loads of it either but if anyone could tell me what that pipe is and whether ther leaking oil is a big problem I would be very grateful. I guess it could even just be spilt oil when servicing?

    Thanks in advance all
