Audi media service at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2011

• Audi press conference on June 10 at 2:00 p.m.
• “Meet the Team” on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
• New Audi appearance at the race track

Ingolstadt, May 13, 2011 - It is not only a new race car that Audi has developed for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The appearance of the brand with the Four Rings at the race track has also been completely restyled: the temporary buildings follow the visionary Audi Terminal architecture for the first time.

The modular Terminal Event Concept (TEC) was already used this year at the opening DTM race of the 2011 season and at the 1000 km race at Spa-Francorchamps.

As in previous years the Team & Media Hospitality, which acts as central contact point at the 24-hour race at Le Mans for all media representatives, also appears in the brand’s new look and feel. On the ground floor once again is the "Open Lounge". The latest media information and the booklet about Audi’s sports prototype program are available at the counter. Interview requests can also be registered.

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the Audi drivers and leading Audi Sport Team Joest personalities are available to give interviews between 2:00-3:00 p.m. each day at a "Meet the Team". All media representatives have free access to the Team & Media Hospitality for these three appointments.

The traditional Audi Press Conference which this year features Member of the Board of Management for Technical Development, Michael ****, as well as Head of Audi Motorsport Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich, all nine factory drivers and Ralf Jüttner, Technical Director of Audi Sport Team Joest, is staged on Friday, June 10 at 2:00 p.m. in the "Audi Racing Arena" in Parc du Raccordement.

The latest information, photos, sound bites and a "live ticker" during the practice, qualifying sessions and the race can be found at www.audi-motorsport.info and on the iPhone App "Audi Sport". If you have any additional wishes please contact the Audi Communications Motorsport team at lemans@audi-motorsport.info during the race week. As always the entire team will try to provide you with as much support as possible to assist in your work.

Please understand that access to the Audi Sport Team Joest pits is only possible by prior arrangement and indeed in special cases. During the practice sessions and race, an Audi Communications Motorsport representative is always in the pits and available as a contact. Please be aware that special accreditation from the organizers (ACO) and fire resistant overalls are required in the pit lane.

As in previous years, special accreditation is required for the Team & Media Hospitality catering area due to the great demand. Please apply for this no later than May 23 at:

Unfortunately, due simply to the limited capacity, it is not possible to allow every request. In addition, media representatives must also possess the media accreditation issued for the race by the organizers.

Further information about the range of services can be found in the media booklet about the sports prototype program, which is available to download as PDF version from www.audi-motorsport.info.
