All new engines need running in, I would have thought performance engines require more care when doing so, regardless of day or age, no?

You wouldn't want to damage your shiny v10 for the sake of being careful for a little while would you?

    Hi
I totally agree if its needed.

I was under the impression modern engines underwent a running period pre-installation.

Was certainly not given any advice when I collected my new AY 18 months ago.
