On my 2001 tdi S estate the two 12v sockets in the rear had been removed and the wires just cut off. I rewired and they worked fine until I accidentaly shorted them out.. I cannot find the relevant fuse..all the fuses in the front dash panel are fine.. Are there any more fuses??
    Any help glady received!!

the fuses for the acc socket's in boot area are behind the lower dash panel on drivers side

2 bolts behind fuse box cover
1 torx just underneath headlight switch
1 torx at the left hand side of lower panel near the manual holder

you will find all the screw's

remove dash panel and they are up in the right hand corner nr relay's..!!!!

Yeah! I did and thanks for your advice I managed to get the dash off and found the offending fuse, and while in there I took the 12v supply I needed for the 12v S socket..
    Happy Days...
