Not sure if I've blown out rubbish/polish from the ext facing circle bit or maybe disturbed a dry joist on the wires etc possibly? Don't know how long it will last but it's working again. Maybe mines a bit of a one off or some intermitent problem but worth giving a faulty sensor a good powerhose before replacing imho. Ah, I also went around the inner circle part of the sensor with a piece of paper just a few mill's in just to clear anything, dead dry polish etc.

Nice one - a darned sight easier and cheaper than my repair!

Does anyone know what's likely to be wrong if when you select reverse there is a long constant beep and no ticking/ pulsing from any of the sensors?

    thanks in advance.

Haven't a clue as not sure how it's linked up. I'd think something like the connection where it connects to the gearbox possibly? Or unless it's picked up from the gear linkage when put in reverse?, someone on here should be able to confirm. Or possibly the connection at the back of the car where it's distributed to the sensors, think it's on the offside behind the bumper? Sorry I can't be much more help...

Does anyone in the forum know what a good source in China is to buy parktronic sensors for the back bumper of my 2006 Audi A8L ? I need to replace two of them.
My car is Light Metallic Silver and hoping to buy them already pre-painted as getting a auto body shop to paint them told me that the paint will cost as much as the sensors. So I am looking for a China supplier that already sells them in the factory pre-painted colours. Anyone?
