door wont open

cant open front passenger door from outside anymore.its done this before but lock / unlock cured it , not this time though. theres a bad vibration coming from that area on rough roads and when music turned up so guess something else has dropped off it. any ideas ?
really beginning to wish id never listened to the german is best hype cos in my experience so far its crap had more problems with this car in 6 months than i had in 5 years with a mondeo

Lower the window fully, then open the door using the handle on the inside; once the door is open, hold the inside handle out and then gently pull the outside handle and let it go . You might need to pull the outside handle a couple of times until it clicks back into place.

The usual cause is passengers trying to open the door when it is locked.

As for the noise, other than loose trim, I have no suggestions.

Fat Controllers advise is spot on . Sorry to hear that has not sorted it. Sounds like you need to remove the door card and see whats going on behind it.

Just reading your first post. Apart from mine developing an intermitent leak its been 100% reliable.

New door lock unit, very common Passat 3C problem.
