    Hi can anyone tell me how many litres of coolant a Audi a4 1.9 tdi 2004 model take thanks herbie

    Dont have a clue but it should say in the owners manual.

    hi mate its 6 litres if filling from bone dry dont forget to use vw/audi g12 anti freeze

    when i did my a4 tdi a few weeks ago, i drained it from the drain plug/ screww thingy until nothing was coming out. Filled up only took 3 litres.

    thats because the thermostat is closed and holding most of the coolant in the engine hence the reason i said if bone dry its 6 litres

    6L x2 as I've changed it too.

    (EDIT - I didn't mean 6x2=12L, I meant I'm the 2nd person to say 6L)
