Audi B6 Rear window demister

Hi as a newbie on here i have been trying to find out why my rear window demister on my 2003 B6 Cabriolet has stopped working. I have read from one post that this is down to me changing my aircon controller and the post 2004 ones dont have a relay in. I have tried to IM the member who posted it but as a newbie im not allowed. In the post the writer "benjie" wrote about wiring in a rely and had instructions, but i cant email him so im preverbially buggered.
Anyone help.
