Hello people. Now I have an issue with my 53 Audi A3 2ltr Tdi sport is losing power whilst driving around 80 mph. I dont lose power all together, but it feels like driving a 1.4 Clio ..I drove it a couple of days later and all seemed fine. I have been told that it may be the EGR valve that could be at fault. and that its sounds like the EGR is on its way out. The same mechanic looked at it, and undid the coolant bottle, and there was no pressure in there. I need to top up coolant every 10 days or so(but the temp never moves above normal). He then told me that the head gasket has gone.. But should know more next week when I'm having a pressure test done on it.
