    Hi Guys,
    Saw this today..News article on the daily mail. My first thoughts were "Lol". Before anyone moans at me for advocating speeding..this is totally irresponsible and should never happen on a public road..and I do not recommend speeding except on a racetrack.

    Someone drove their Modded Audi S3 at 167mph down the A127! The irony? The entire stretch he sped down was enforced with 50mph Average Speed cameras...not a real traffic cop in sight when you need one. Think the police are still looking for him. Probably using fake plates or so...Good video though...

    Enjoy

    I did laugh at this comment:

    What an idiot................doing those speeds with low screen wash levels!!
    Given the inaccuracy of speedometers at higher speeds, he was probably doing about 155 with an indicated 164, so with regards to it being a modified S3, that's probably not true. That's irrelevant though, given the video content. Whilst I don't stick to the 70 limit all the time, 150+ is perhaps a bit irresponsible.

    fair enough to the posters, especially the one which comments about having low windscreen and fuel levels. lol
    Ok, the speed was stupid and the driver would certainly end up in prison with speeds like that and I certainly don't praise the driver.
    Although I must say, speed actually doesn't kill. Other stupid incompetent drivers or the drivers experience does. Also stopping distances have changed and the ones in the highway code are wrong! The theory still is in place, but the timing isn't. For example cars have better BHP and all these different stopping sensors to bring the car to a comfortable and controllable stop.
    I like it when Clarkson said on Sunday nights Top Gear;
    No we don't have speed limits over here, in-fact you get letters of praise when caught by a shiny yellow box.
    lol

    Lastly the Daily Mail are completely clueless!

    A car like this one is thought to have been used
    Erm...no. Thats the early S3 and looks nothing like it. For a start the white DIS wasn't introduced till 2008. And label it 'boy racer'. Who is to say its not a girl?

    Could be worse. Could be labelled as one of those stereotypical BMW drivers. At least us Audi Drivers indicate
