    Hi my audi A4 1.9 tdi displays the range/miles left in tank but does not display mpg reading? Is this normal?

    Hi yes this is normal if you do not have a button on the end of the wiper stalk. If you want this feature you need to change the wiper stalk and use vcds to enable it. See link below or google retrofit Dis.

    I am in the process of doing this mod to my car it has everything else except the DIS. There is a guy on ebay selling the stalks here is the link when it arrives i will let you know if its any good

    This will only work for a saloon though as it doesn't have the rear wash wipe for an avant

    I bought one on ebay for a similar price from Poland by the looks of it. Its not genuine but then its not genuine money either. I've had no problems with it and its been fitted for a while now.
    The mod is easy jus make sure you've got a T8 torx screwdriver with a thin shaft for the cowling and a T55 torx and threadlock to remove the steering wheel.

    As above, the T8 is a right bugger to get to. I had to trim the handle of my T8 screwdriver for it to go in far enough! (Ooh err!)
