B7 Retrofit Bluetooth Mic not working!!

Hi I have recently fitted a bluetooth kit from eBay that a few people have installed on the forum see this link

the kit contained the following
This kit contains :1x 8P0 035 503 E - Bluetooth Antenne
1x 8L1 862 373 A - Microphone
1x 8P1 862 335 - Bluetooth Interface
Retrofit cables, installation and CODING instructions

All of the install went well and vagcom all configured well. phone paired with the system and I get asked for voice commands. I have a MFSW and concert 2 The issue is that I cannot give any commands

I can recieve and hear calls all ok but they cannot hear me. I checked all the mic connections and all seem ok. So looks like the mic is ******* although it is a new component

Is there a quick way to check this on Vagcom or any other way? I set upo the sensitivity to 0dB as this was standard. Any help appreciated.

I have tried to talk to the seller but they are no good. I would not recommend them at all.

Mine did the same common fault, pull the Mic connector apart and turn is around simple as that .

Hi thanks very much will try first thing tomorrow. I am not to sure if it was your post but did u buy one of these kits and had an issue with it?

Yes I have two of these kits , when first fitted had exactly the same issue as yours, the Mic leads are wired wrong into the connector, easy fix unplug it turn around (so the connector block is the wrong way ) but the wiring will be correct .
I've heard of a few others with the same issue .

Forgot to mention its on there site about this issue

They show swapping the wires in the mic , but its easier to swap the connector .
