    Hi,
I have A4 SE 2003 Cabriolet and roof fails to open properly unless you hold it for a few vital seconds while the storage lid opens. I understand from reading that this can be low fluid level but where is the reservoir!!

I guess I have to remove boot liners to find it? Or have i missed the obvious in my search of the rear of the car!!

I am a confident dismantler/assembler but any guidance on boot lining clip removals in a way that doesn't shatter them would be appreciated too.

    Cheers and thanks in advance

    Richard

    Hi Richard,

The reservoir is in the boot, under a panel. I have to go and clean the electric motor that drives the hydraulics so you can use the start of my video at Audi A4 Cabriolet - fix for roof not opening - YouTube to see how to get to the oil reserve.
