  1. Question Fixed service back to variable

    Hi,

I have just purchased a 2002 a4 quattro which was originally on the variable service plan. However the last service by the previous owner was done as a fixed service and the interval reset via the buttons on the dash as per the manual.

My question is that by doing this has he adjusted the settings for service in vag com? or is the fixed service indication purely a generic timer based on miles covered?

Also the oil is the same for both types of service so surely fixed is better anyway?
