    Hi there!

As stated above, I have just replaced all the brake fluid in my car with new fluid and once i started the car the RED brake warning lights came on and didnt turn off. I've tried getting the cars ABS to kick in to perhaps fix it, and whilst it does kick in, the brake warning light doesen't turn off! this includes the handbrake warning light.

Anything i've done wrong or need to do? I've disconnected the battery for now, hoping this might fix it but not sure.

I bled all the old fluid from the calipers using a pressure bleeding machine (thanks to my college garage)
and at the same time it was pressurising the brake fluid container with new fluid.

    Any comments welcome.

    Thanks in advance,

    Fahim.

Did you at any time run out of fluid in the pressure bleeder? This will let air into the master cylinder, which is bad.

What pressure did you set the bleeder at? Different cars have different bleeding pressure requirements.

Do the brakes work OK? Which brake warning symbol is it? Fluid level or brake pad wear?

sounds to me as if you have disturbed one of the
pad wear wiring connections on the callipers
when you have been into the bleed screws,
    regards,

Why dont you do a diagnostic scan incase the pressure has triggered some sort of fault that requires erasing

    Hi,

Firstly I'd like to thank you all for your related input. Much appreciated to see the forum helping out a fellow member.

STEWY L seems to be correct. I had my car taken in for a much due live data log feed by AMD Lakeside for poor mpg concerns and they said one of my brake wires near the caliper had broken i think so they've moved it for now but it will need replacing or soldering in the near future.

    Thanks a lot guys/girls.
