    Hello

i notice that the VNT turbo on the Sharan 1.9 2006 has an Actuator to control when the VNT nozzels Adjust .

i also notice that there is a thread to adjust the length of the Actuator arm

    1. goes someone know how i can find the factory specification length for the Actuator rod length ?

2.and if its too long and adjusted incorectly is it possible that the Vanes can make contact with the turbos thrust compressor wheel and damage it ?
    Regards

Push the charge pressure valve lever in the direction of the vacuum unit onto stop and hold in place.
Then adjust the length of operating rod so that the eye of the rod can be placed over the pin of the lever with ease.
Screw in the operating rod 8 turns (rod will be shortened).
    Tighten lock nuts.
Connect then the operating rod onto the lever and secure with locking tab
