Why do you need an uprated turbo ? As a mild upgrade, the GT 1749 VA off the 1.9 PD TDI 130 bhp is plug-and-play. You will only need to modify the pipe from the turbo so it fits over the metal boost pipe wich doubles as the crash bar or you can buy an adaptor wich fits on the turbo and let-you fit the rubber hose over just like the existing turbo you have on the car. The VA will support slightly higher boost than the VNT 17 you allready have in there and with a good chip/remap and transporter 150Bhp nozzles will go up to 150 Bhp at the wheels without reliability issues and will became more ecconomical as well. A better turbo is the is the BRV 2.0 Tdi 170 PD Tdi made by KKK and ending in H(X). Also PNP but has better compresor blades and will sustain greater boost and spool better than the GT1749 VA. This turbo with the above mods and 11mm injector pump (off automatic cars) will go to 185 Bhp at the wheel and will pull harder and better than any PD engine at the same Bhp ! Please note that i am talking wheel horse power and not inflated CRANK power as every tunner in uk does ! A pd 130 with a remap will only have 150-165 Bhp at the wheel max(depending on how good or agressive the remap is) ! All that tosh you hear about flywheel power is meaningless...
