Can anyone tell me roughly how much a replacement door card would be for the rear nearside door on a B6 Passat?

For some inexplicable reason, my daughter thought that it would be a good idea to use the pin of a badge to pick bloody holes in the top of my door card. Needless to say, the cost will be being passed on to the little bar-steward this time, as much in the name of education as anything else.

    Lang may yer lum reek!

Thanks Martin - I've already told her that all the money she gets for the forseeable future is mine. I am going to put up a sheet in the kitchen with a running total showing how much she has to pay and how far along she is, and put all the money in a jar then she can come with me to the dealer and pay for it.

She needs to learn that actions have consequences.

Luckily for me I dont have the issue if kids that much. As a scout leader I ha e the odd car full but they no better than to mess with it! Also have the girlfriends nieces and nephews in the odd time too but there normally well behaved.

I remember friends of mine getting a brand new seat Alhambra, and there 8 year old son got his hands on the cigarete lighter. After 10mins the seats were like dalmations! Not to mention door cards, carpets and even the roof liner! Full retrim required and cost them about £1800 in there brand new car!

That would have been one dead child if he were mine! I am still amazed that I managed to keep myself relatively reasonable this morning - mind you, sitting outside the school when I found the damage helped that a bit.

Needless to say, all privileges are cancelled in this house until I see a marked improvement in behaviour.

Can't you get one from a breaker - there must be dozens of them. They didn't all belong to people with naughty kids!
