    Hi,

I have a 3 door S reg A3. Suddenly the driver door appears to be child locked. The external handle opens the door fine, but the internal one just isnt working.

Is it possible I have activated a child lock - or would it not be possible on this door anyway?
    All other doors seem fine.

    Thanks for any pointers.

    Floob.

you may have activated a child lock, there is usually a metal tab on the door under the lock, but i suspect the cable connected to the interior handle has broken.

I've never heard of a child lock fitted to a front door. I agree that your handle pull cable has snapped / popped out.

Very very unlikely to be child lock... the release cable just hooks into the back of the interior handle, can easily come unhooked...
